In addition to GP consultations the practice a range of clinics and healthcare services:
Long Term Condition Clinics
If you have a long term condition like type 2 diabetes, a heart condition, high blood pressure, kidney disease or have had a stroke you will be invited to attend a Long Term Condition Clinic once each year. This will mean that you will have an initial appointment with the Health Care Assistant, who willl perform all of the pre-check tests, followed by an appointment with the Practice Nurse a week later. The nurse will be able to update your medication and ensure that your condition is well managed.
NHS Health Checks
We are now offering NHS Health Checks to patients between the ages of 40 and 74 every five years. These checks are proving very popular with our patients. Please speak to reception to book.
Annual Health Checks
Annual health checks are available for all patients aged over 75 years. We suggest that all patients who have not seen a doctor or nurse for at least three years should have a routine check up with the practice nurse.

Antenatal
Clinics are held at the surgery by the midwife, please check with reception when these are available. If you are unwell or have particular concerns you should make an appointment with your GP. Prospective mothers will be asked whether they have a preference regarding where they wish to deliver their babies. We can refer you to the Norfolk and Norwich, West Suffolk and Ipswich Hospitals. For other options please speak to your midwife.
Family Planning
Advice is available from your doctor and practice nurse.
Child Immunisation 
We strongly recommend that all children are fully immunised.
Flu Injections
These are available annually for patients over 65 years and for those patients at increased risk from influenza, such as diabetics, those with asthma or heart problems etc... If you think you need a flu injection please enquire at reception.
Pneumonia Immunisation
These are recommended for patients over 65 years of age.
Tetanus Immunisation
For patients who have had a full course tetanus immunisation as a child, a booster is recommended every 10 years. However a nurse or a gp to assess and decide if a tetanus if necessary.
Smears
These are recommended 3 yearly between ages 24 1/2 and 50 years. From 50 plus every 5 years. You will be sent a reminder when you are next due for a smear. Please call the surgery and let the receptionist know that you need a smear so that she can book an appointment with a nurse for you.
Dental Care 
We advise that you register with a dentist and attend on an at least yearly basis. For urgent dental problems firstly contact your dentist. If you have difficulty getting through to him/her you should ring 111, who will give you the number of the emergency dentist for the area.
Minor Surgery
Practice doctors perform minor surgery procedures, please speak to your gp or reception for more details.
Foreign Travel
Injections for travel abroad are available from the practice nurse. Vaccination for diphtheria, tetanus, polio, and hepatitis A is free. There is a charge for rabies, Japanese encephalitis and hepatitis B.
Please ensure you have an appointment with the Practice Nurse at least four weeks before your holiday – if you require vaccines
If you cannot attend four weeks before your holiday – you will need to go to the Travel Clinic
